We are looking for a Enterprise Architect, Marine and Navy to join our Enterprise Architecture team working for a better future. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa or Helsinki, Finland. We offer the possibility of hybrid work.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Enterprise Architect, Marine and Navy your work will focus to developing the Enterprise Architecture of Wärtsilä and for Wärtsilä Marine, but more specifically Navy. On a typical day, you might be starting with interesting discussions about upcoming strategic projects and end the day with advising business on the next possible steps to secure compliance to different customer requirements. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support of our business, cyber and IT organisation.
Your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Co-creation of strategic Information Technology related roadmaps for Marine Businesses especially in Navy context.
- Describing the needed development actions from business, information, application, and technical aspects to reach desired business outcomes.
- Based on the co-created roadmap, further planning of signature-ready development initiatives together with IT organization and business stakeholders.
- Guiding and supporting of key development initiatives/projects.
- Working as trusted advisor towards Marine Businesses and participating in development ideation.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Business and/or IT in global environment
- M.Sc. University degree
- Knowledge on how to create roadmaps, design fit-for-purpose cyber secure solutions and have skills to model and visualize needed change to achieve target position of business
- Fluency in ensuring how compliance requirements are fulfilled with IT solutions
- Understanding of complex international business environments and experience working with different stakeholders, from business Vice President to a technical specialist
- The ability to think strategically and capability to work as trusted advisor towards business
- Prior experience of Navy as operating environment is considered as an asset, as well as understanding of regulatory standards and frameworks such as NIST, NIS2, 05-138, ANSSI, ABDO, CMMC or DISP
