Senior Manager, SAP Security and Platform Services

We are looking for a Senior Manager to ERP Centre of Excellence in Wärtsilä Information Management with a main responsibility in SAP Security and Platform Services. The preferred location for this position is Helsinki, Vaasa or Turku, other location can be considered. We offer a possibility to hybrid work.

Your role and responsibilities:

As a Senior Manager in ERP Centre of Excellence your work will include leading operations and IT delivery within own domain. You’ll be working as a part of the management team in a truly global ERP Centre of Excellence team with diverse expertise.

Your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• Lead the SAP Security and Platform Services operations and teams in the global ERP Centre of Excellence

• Own the IT Service delivery in this area and ensure efficient and effective delivery of IT services with the required quality, lead time, and cost

• Manage relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure service agreements are met

• Collaborate actively with key stakeholders in business and IT to understand, support, and deliver the business needs, and understand demands in order to develop a needs-based roadmap for IT service development within own area

• Encourage and lead continuous improvement of processes and tools

• Support and participate in the adoption of DevOps and agile tools and methodology to the SAP development process

• Strategically plan, develop, and optimize IT services within the domain
  

To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:

• Experience of IT leadership with a proven track record

• SAP ERP experience, either as a platform or service owner or from similar role

• Experience of IT Service Management

• Understanding of modern SAP S/4HANA capabilities, modules, and global process development around ERP

• Excellent leadership, collaboration, and teamwork skills

• Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously, achieve results, decisiveness, and action orientation

• Ability to adjust to continuous changes in the business environment, tolerate risk, and make mitigation scenarios

• Experience in DevOps & agile methodology, requirement management, and service design

• M.Sc degree in IT, engineering, or business administration

• Fluent written and spoken English
