We are now looking for an IT Specialist to join our team in Kuopio
In this role, you will become the local IT expert supporting our Finnish operations while working closely with colleagues across the Nordic organization. You will join a lean and collaborative IT team , working together with our IT Infrastructure Architect based in Denmark.
This is a broad and hands-on role combining end-user support, Microsoft 365 administration, infrastructure maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring that our employees have the tools, systems and support they need to perform at their best.
The position offers a great opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys variety, independence and close interaction with end users while also contributing to the development of a modern IT environment.
The role is based in Kuopio and follows a hybrid working model, combining office presence and remote work approximately 50/50. As the local IT specialist supporting Finnish operations, regular on-site presence is important, while offering flexibility to work remotely when appropriate.
Key responsibilities
Provide end-user support and resolve IT-related issues for employees across Finland and other Nordic locations
Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments
Support and maintain endpoint devices, laptops, mobile phones and user workstations
Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Power Platform
Support Windows Server and network infrastructure environments
Participate in onboarding new employees and setting up devices and user environments
Create and maintain documentation, instructions and IT processes
Participate in IT development projects and modernization initiatives
Work closely with external IT partners and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations
Technical Environment
In this role, you will work with a continuously developing IT environment that supports employees across multiple countries.
Key technologies and platforms include:
Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Power Platform)
Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
Active Directory and Azure AD / Entra ID
Windows Server environments
Network infrastructure including switches, access points and controllers
NinjaOne for device management, ticketing and remote support
Various business systems, including ERP environments
Our long-term direction is to continue modernizing our infrastructure and moving services towards cloud-based solutions whenever possible. You will have the opportunity to contribute to these improvements together with our Nordic IT team.

Talent we are looking for
We are primarily looking for a service-minded and versatile IT professional who enjoys helping people and taking ownership of issues from start to finish.
We do not expect you to be an expert in every area, but experience in several of the following technologies and environments will help you succeed in the role:
Previous experience in IT support, service desk, IT specialist or similar roles
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
Experience with Active Directory and/or Azure AD
Experience with Windows Server environments
Understanding of endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Intune
General understanding of network infrastructure and troubleshooting
Experience working with ticketing systems
Fluent Finnish and English language skills
Additionally, the following are considered beneficial:
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform
Experience with modern workplace technologies
Experience participating in IT projects
Understanding of ERP environments
Experience working in international organizations
Experience in exploring how AI and emerging technologies can support productivity, end-user experience and IT operations
