We are looking for a Global Solution Owner with a main responsibility in Field Service and Workshops (FSWS) process area. The preferred location for this position is in Finland either in Helsinki, Vaasa or Turku but also other Wärtsilä locations are negotiable. We offer the possibility of hybrid work.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Global Solution Owner, you are driving the solution agenda for Field Service and Workshop processes: standardisation, digitalisation and fit-for-purpose IT enablement. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working closely with other Global Solution Owners, IT organisation and Global Process Owner of FSWS.
Your work will focus on these responsibilities:
Acting as the solution-facing requirements authority: capture needs/pain points, define requirements, and own the requirements backlog.
Leading demand management: structure intake, shape demand, and drive prioritisation proposals with FSWS business stakeholders.
Ensuring holistic end-to-end process design: safeguard that cross-process and cross-system impacts are considered, not just local optimisations.
Ensuring data/integration/reporting/analytics coverage in solutions: that required data flows, integrations, and insight needs are included in designs and deliveries.
Driving process & IT innovation: benchmark performance, identify gaps, explore new tech (e.g., AI/analytics/process mining), and lead early feasibility/discovery.
Working in SAP S/4HANA Service implementation.
Acting as a change leader for solution impact.
To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:
Strong background in Field Services and Workshops
Excellent understanding of SAP S/4HANA Service module
Capability to work with different stakeholders, from business VP to a technical specialist
University degree and background from similar position
Good communication and presentation skills
