We are a workforce of more than 350 with three production facilities in Helsingborg (Sweden), in Vantaa (Finland) and in Lindesberg (Sweden). In Helsingborg and Vantaa, we produce ready-cut salads for private labels and our own brand BAMA. At the plant in Lindesberg (Sweden) we produce ready meals and products for the Good, Lillesjö and Deläckra labels.

Sales Manager- responsibilities
🥙We are looking for an energetic, outgoing Sales Manager to lead our sales and sales team of two in Finland! In this role, you will turn company strategy into action, balancing customer needs with company goals to deliver profitable growth and outstanding customer satisfaction. You will drive results by analyzing data, identifying market shifts, and seizing new opportunities to strengthen Bama’s position in the market.
Your work will create visibility and demand through fairs, campaigns, advertisements, and marketing activities that make Bama stand out and become more recognized by consumers and end users. You will build strong partnerships, network with clients and make sure that Bama's current client base remains satisfied while searching for room to grow. At the same time, you will energize the team by connecting strategy to action and ensuring sales operations run smoothly and effectively. Your closest manager will be Bama's Commercial Director Suzanne but you will also have a close cooperation with Country Manager Timo.

Main responsibilities highlighted

Sales Team Leadership:
Supervise the sales team in Finland, ensuring both Key Account Managers and Sales Coordinators have the tools, information, and support needed to succeed.

Customer responsibility:
You have an important role in growing the current clients as well as finding new potential clients from the Finnish market.

Team & Culture:
Play an active role in the Finnish management team by fostering a strong culture, improving ways of working, and ensuring processes run cost-effectively while keeping customer satisfaction high.

Information Sharing:
Ensure smooth communication across all departments by providing the necessary information for the order-to-delivery process and guiding development activities to benefit both customers and the sales team.

Marketing & Customer Relations
Plan and execute marketing activities, including events and campaigns, with the support of marketing agencies. Meet with existing customers and identify potential new ones, dedicating part of your time to managing your own portfolio of clients.

Turnover & Profit:
Ensure company goals for turnover and profit are achieved by creating budgets, monitoring results, and managing follow-ups.

Customer Contracts and Pricing:
Negotiate and manage contracts, making sure they are fulfilled while accurately estimating volumes and customer demand. Develop offers and pricelists based on product calculations, working closely with the Operations Manager and supported by the Commercial Director on key pricing decisions.

This role is located in Vantaa and currently our team is working 4 days a week from the office. The position includes some travelling mostly in Finland but it is rare to have overnight stays. Your travels will be compensated. Compensation is built around base salary with a range being 5000-7000 €/month. Salary revisions are held every year in April. Salary negotiations are to be done between Bama representatives and selected candidate.

The process includes one online Nawia interview followed by Bama's online interview with Suzanne for top candidates. The final step of the process is a face2face meeting with Suzanne. Also other Bama representatives might join the meetings. Other steps for the top candidates include a work personality assessment test and reference check. Position starts as soon as possible.
