What kind of role will you step into?
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive with a knack for solution sales, passion for technology, and eagerness for continuous learning. If you get excited about helping Nordic organisations unlock the potential of cutting-edge cloud solutions, then this role is perfect for you.
As a member of our eight-strong cross-functional Google Cloud team, you'll work closely with Cloud Architects/Engineers as well as our growth and marketing team. Your main objective will be to leverage your expertise in customer interaction and sales to identify opportunities for maximising the potential of Cloud for both new and existing customers.
Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of areas, including:
New Customer acquisitions
Ensuring the satisfaction of our existing customers
Working closely with Google in various activities and sales opportunities
Identifying and driving new solutions sales
Taking part in campaigns alongside our sales and marketing teams
Working closely with our partners such as booking agencies
Planning growth strategies with Business & Service Lead
Keeping up-to-date with the technological advancements and new capabilities of Google Cloud

What is required to succeed in this role?
Above all, we are looking for a great cultural fit for our vibrant team with a let’s go attitude! To excel in this role, you'll need a solid foundation in public cloud technologies. We require a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a sales role selling services, solutions, or licenses with a major public cloud platform, such as Google Cloud, AWS or Azure.
While prior experience with Google Cloud is not mandatory, this understanding will significantly accelerate your learning curve. Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a proactive, customer-focused approach and a genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning.
In this role, the following characteristics, skill sets, and experience will assist you:
A strong interest in cloud infrastructure and cloud services with previous experience in the IT-sector.
An existing background in the field of software, software consultation and cloud solutions, such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure or AWS.
Experience in value-based solution selling.
The ability to talk “tech” with the customers and having general knowledge of API’s, Infrastructure management, Cloud Architecture, Cloud Security and Governance.
Firsthand experience understanding how individual efforts can make or break deals.
Understanding the mindset of a digital native company.
A desire to learn new things and sharing your knowledge.
Open and curious mind to explore new ideas and the courage to test them.
An ability to interpret the changing needs of customers in their specific business and work environment, and implement the Gappsian way of ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Strong communication, collaboration and self-management skills.
Ability to fluently converse in Finnish as well as English within the company and with our customers.
