Chief Marketing Officer - Sevendos Group
Some marketing leadership roles are about optimisation. This one is about creation.
Build the market position of one of Finland's fastest-growing technology services groups
As the Group CMO, you will serve as the senior marketing and brand visionary across Sevendos Group, operating at the intersection of strategic positioning, commercial growth, and organisational influence. You will be the thought leader and external voice of one of Europe's fastest-growing technology services companies.
We are looking for a credible, recognised presence in the market, shaping how the world sees Sevendos, its subsidiaries, and the future of AI-enabled professional services. You will bring ideas in addition to execution. You will build from 0 to 1 where it matters, and scale what works.
You will drive sustainable growth by translating deep market intelligence into compelling positioning, sharp offerings, and measurable pipeline impact. Or in other words, turning our Specialist Magic into market momentum.
What will you own?
You will lead marketing strategy and execution across a multi-brand portfolio, with a mandate that spans brand architecture, demand generation, and board-level communication.
Concretely, this means:
Market intelligence and offering development. You understand markets intuitively and globally. You translate insight into offering packaging that sells, shaping how we go to market, not just how we talk about what we already do. You have a strong point of view on where the market is heading and you act on it before competitors do.
Brand mastery across a multi-brand environment. You build brands that resonate, differentiate, and compound over time. You understand the art of brand architecture at group level: when to unify, when to let subsidiaries lead, and how to hold it all together with coherence and purpose. You set the thought leadership example you expect from others.
Data-driven, AI-native marketing. You are fluent in modern marketing tooling and lead with data. You run lean: scaling team output without adding headcount, turning small individual company budgets into maximum ROI, and optimising relentlessly against the KPIs that matter to the board. You are not just comfortable with AI tools; you are ahead of the curve on them.
People leadership and cross-functional alignment. You lead, develop, and inspire a small Sevendos marketing team, but this is also a highly hands-on role. You set direction, create alignment, and influence across the organisation while staying close to the work yourself. You work fluidly across commercial, product, TA, and subsidiary leadership teams, moving comfortably between strategy and execution. You are proactive by default, confident in making sharp prioritisation calls, and operationally grounded enough to step in and get your hands dirty when needed.
PR, comms, and organisational influence. You are a strong communicator internally and externally. You can speak the language of the board. You have the capability to handle crisis communications calmly. You energise the organisation around a shared marketing narrative and build influencing skills that go beyond your direct team.
Budget ownership and commercial accountability. You own the group-level marketing budget and are accountable for how it is allocated and spent. You work in close partnership with subsidiary leadership teams to plan, prioritise, and track marketing investment at company level, ensuring every euro is deployed with clear commercial intent and measurable return.
Close collaboration with sales is equally central: you align pipeline goals, messaging, and go-to-market timing with commercial leadership to ensure marketing and sales pull in the same direction.
Your toolkit
You are comfortable with HubSpot (or equivalent CRM/MA platforms), Canva, project management tooling, and low-code capabilities.
You embrace AI tools (Claude, other LLMs) as force multipliers, not novelties. Agileday or similar time and resource tracking is part of how we run professionally.
What is expected from you?
We are looking for an experienced marketing leader who has successfully combined strategic thinking with commercial impact in previous roles. You have built, developed or transformed marketing functions, go-to-market capabilities, or operating models in environments where growth, positioning and business outcomes matter. You bring a strong track record from B2B technology, software, professional services, consulting, or another expertise-driven industry and understand how marketing contributes to pipeline creation, commercial growth and long-term value creation.
You are comfortable working alongside executive leadership teams and influencing senior stakeholders across complex organisations. You have the credibility to represent a company externally, the communication skills to inspire internally, and the ability to align diverse stakeholders around a shared direction. You combine strong business acumen with hands-on experience in modern marketing technology, CRM platforms, marketing automation and data-driven decision-making. Most importantly, you are genuinely interested in AI and have already embraced modern AI tools as a practical way to improve effectiveness, scale and quality.
In addition we will appreciate :
Experience in a multi-brand, multi-business-unit or group-level environment would be highly valuable in this role. We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked within technology services, consulting, digital transformation or other high-value expert services businesses. Experience building thought leadership programmes, executive visibility and earned media presence will help you succeed, as will a track record of developing and launching new offerings or service concepts.
We also value experience gained during periods of significant growth, organisational transformation or broader value creation journeys. Familiarity with AI-enabled software development, AI services, Agentic AI or related technology domains would be considered a strong advantage.
What you get when you join Sevendos
At Sevendos, you get the opportunity to shape the marketing function of a growing technology services group still at a defining stage of its journey. This is a role with real strategic influence: you will work close to the CEO, board, leadership of Sevendos companies, sales and talent to shape how Sevendos shows up in the market.
You will have the mandate to build, not just maintain. You will be trusted to challenge, create, and bring new thinking into the organisation. The environment is entrepreneurial, ambitious, and intellectually demanding: decisions move fast, ideas are expected, and ownership matters.
You will work with highly skilled specialists across AI, technology, design, and professional services, and help turn their expertise into a stronger market position. For the right person, this is an excellent and somewhat rare opportunity to build a modern, AI-native marketing function across a multi-brand group with room to leave a visible mark.
How we define success for the role?
First 6 months
During your first six months, success will be measured primarily through your ability to establish credibility and strong working relationships across the Sevendos ecosystem. We expect you to define and align the group’s marketing priorities, operating model and strategic roadmap while strengthening the positioning and market narrative of Sevendos and its key offerings, including AI and Agentic SDLC services.
You will begin elevating Sevendos’ thought leadership presence, increasing executive visibility and creating stronger alignment between marketing and sales around pipeline goals, messaging and go-to-market execution. We also expect you to identify and implement meaningful opportunities to leverage AI and automation across the marketing function.
Within 12 months
Within your first year, success should be visible both in the market and in the business. You will have strengthened awareness and market traction around Sevendos’ strategic offerings, particularly within AI-enabled professional services, while delivering measurable contribution to pipeline generation and commercial opportunities.
You will have established a systematic customer reference programme that supports both marketing and sales, and built a searchable, widely adopted reference database that helps commercial teams across the group. We expect Sevendos’ position as a recognised thought leader to have strengthened through increased executive visibility, earned media, industry participation and high-quality content.
Internally, success means having built a scalable AI-native marketing function capable of serving a diverse portfolio of brands while maintaining strong stakeholder satisfaction, operational efficiency and measurable business impact.
