Come join us in developing the new Netvisor Payroll!

We are looking for an experienced developer to join the team that works on the renewal of Netvisor Payroll. You will have an opportunity to join the team at a very exciting stage as we progress with the development of a new payroll product towards the MVP phase and beyond! 

There are currently five in-house developers and three consultants in this skilled and diverse team, working from 4 different locations and having 6 different nationalities. The team is also supported by designers and architects.

We value responsibility and freedom, so our team makes a lot of important and independent product development related decisions in their daily work. On the tech side of things, our backend consists of C# .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, asynchronous programming, REST API, GraphQL, and more. On the frontend we have React, TypeScript, Zod, i18next, Vite, TanStack Query, etc. In testing we use NUnit, NSubstitute, Bogus, and Playwright.

We expect you to have intermediate to senior level expertise in fullstack development in the following areas:

• Expertise in React, TypeScript, and/or JavaScript.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core and .NET Core / .NET 5+.
• Experience with relational databases.

You would also need to have fluent communication skills, preferably both in Finnish and English (due to Finnish API documents).

Competence in writing and maintaining tests (see our test stack above; but also MSTest, xUnit, or Moq) is appreciated. It’s also very helpful if you have experience with cloud-native or Kubernetes applications and AWS, or familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git.

In addition, you have a proactive “can do” and team player attitude. It would be awesome if you also have previous experience in payroll systems or from a highly regulated industry.

💰 The salary range in this position is difficult to estimate as it can be anything between 4000-6000 €/month depending on your relevant experience and seniority, but we are happy to hear your expectations.

🏡 Flexible Working - Our offices are located in Lappeenranta and Helsinki. In addition, we have offices at Visma locations across Finland, including Jyväskylä, Turku, and Tampere. We support remote working so you can live and work anywhere in Finland. However, we would like you to occasionally visit your team mates at our offices in either Helsinki or Lappeenranta.
