We are looking for a new member to join Hurtta’s pack 🐾
Hurtta's D2C eCommerce journey began in 2021 when Hurtta.com was launched. Over the past few years, the focus has been on building a strong foundation:
D2C operations launched and expanded to 46 markets
International presence across EU and non-EU markets (USA, Canada, Australia, Japan etc.)
Reliable external partners in place
Focus more on website development and customer journey understanding
Growing global customer base and strong brand-driven demand
Today, Hurtta's D2C has a great starting point for further commercialization and growth: scaling the business, improving efficiency and turning Hurtta D2C operation into a structured, data-driven and scalable global growth engine.
To support this journey, we are now hiring a
Digital Growth Manager (eCommerce).
This role sits at the heart of Hurtta's future growth. You will work closely with eCommerce Manager and take responsibility for digital growth, performance marketing and funnel efficiency across international markets.
Your mission is clear:
Turn Hurtta's D2C from a well-functioning webshop into a scalable global growth engine.
You will combine hands-on execution with development work – building structure, improving ways of working and continuously identifying new growth opportunities.
Key responsibilities
Digital growth & performance marketing
Own digital growth performance across channels (Google, Meta, TikTok and future platforms)
Lead and challenge agency partners and manage digital marketing budgets
Build market-level growth models and prioritization
Identify, test and scale growth opportunities across key focus markets (US, UK, DACH, Sweden, Nordics)
Analytics, insights & capability building
Build Hurtta’s eCommerce analytics framework together with the eCommerce Manager
Own and develop key KPIs (CAC, LTV, CR, AOV, retention, ROAS, market performance)
Translate data into clear business insights and concrete actions
Support commercial decision-making with facts and data
Collaborate closely with eCommerce, customer service, integrations, brand, product and supply teams
Funnel ownership: newsletters, CRO, SEO & GEO
Own Hurtta’s full digital funnel performance end-to-end
Own and develop newsletter marketing (weekly newsletters, flows, optimization)
Build and drive the CRO roadmap
Own SEO & GEO development together with partners
Improve traffic quality, conversion and customer acquisition efficiency
Growth development & innovation
Develop new digital growth initiatives (social commerce, creators, AI tools, automation, new platforms)
Support CRM and loyalty development from a growth perspective
Support B2B, Amazon and marketplace development where relevant
Continuously evolve Hurtta’s digital growth playbook
During your first months, the focus will be on:
Onboarding to Hurtta’s strategy and D2C business together with the CCO and eCommerce Manager
Building a deep understanding of Hurtta’s eCommerce setup, technology, markets and partners
Creating a clear overview of digital performance, funnel efficiency and growth opportunities
Starting to structure reporting, prioritisation and growth initiatives
Establishing strong collaboration across the eCommerce team and key stakeholders
Hurtta’s operations are seasonal. Spring and summer are typically calmer and allow more time for analysis, planning and development, while autumn and winter are peak seasons with a strong focus on sales execution and customer experience.
What we are looking for?
This role requires a strong background in digital growth and performance marketing, combined with a commercial mindset and the ability to work across different areas of eCommerce.
The ideal candidate brings:
Experience in scaling eCommerce or D2C business
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven way of working
Comfort in owning agencies, partners and digital budgets
Ability to work hands-on while also developing structure and long-term growth models
Curiosity towards new growth channels, AI and automation
International mindset and experience working in an international environment, with exposure to US, UK and/or DACH markets seen as a strong advantage
Amazon know-how is considered an advantage
Fluent language skills in English and Finnish (German and/or Swedish is a plus)
Shopify experience (must-have)
Strong understanding of eCommerce-related technologies (ERP, PIM, CRM, integrations, analytics)
Why join Hurtta’s pack? 🐾
This role offers a genuinely meaningful opportunity to influence Hurtta’s future. ECommerce is not just another sales channel for Hurtta – it is a strategic cornerstone of the company’s growth going forward.
