Your role and responsibilities
Terraroc Finland Oy is looking for a seasoned Senior Production Planner to strengthen its operational core team. The role is based at the Ylöjärvi manufacturing site and acts as a critical link between sales, procurement, production operations, and international distribution.
This is a hands-on senior role that combines strategic thinking with operational agility. You will ensure on-time delivery in an international B2B environment.
The Senior Production Planner is responsible for production scheduling, resource optimization, and material availability to ensure that products are completed on time, cost-effectively, and with high quality.
At the same time, you will support international B2B distribution planning, ensuring that global delivery commitments are met in a dynamic operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and commercial forecasts
Prioritize and balance production and delivery schedules in a changing environment
Ensure alignment between demand, capacity, and operational constraints
International B2B Distribution Planning
Ensure on-time deliveries for international customers operating across multiple time zones
Actively support global B2B distribution workstreams
Collaborate with inter-company stakeholders, distributors, and internal teams
Supply Chain & Material Management
Monitor inventory levels and initiate call-offs with suppliers
Ensure material availability to prevent production interruptions
Manage international supply chain interfaces including vendors and logistics partners
Operational Steering & Agility
Identify bottlenecks and respond quickly to disruptions such as material shortages or machine downtime
Balance commercial forecasting requirements with operational realities
Remain calm and effective in an environment where priorities shift rapidly
KPI Ownership & Continuous Improvement
Define and monitor key performance indicators related to delivery reliability and operational performance
Lead by example and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Provide mentorship and operational support within the team
Cross-Functional Communication
Align diverse stakeholders including sales, finance, procurement, and factory operations
Translate operational realities into clear business insights
Act as a proactive communicator between commercial and operational functions
Your background?
Solid experience in production planning and operational scheduling
Proven exposure to international B2B supply chains
Experience in KPI setting and operational performance tracking
Ability to operate across time zones and global distribution environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Resilience and agility in economically challenging or rapidly changing environments
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Technical or commercial higher education (e.g., Bachelor of Engineering or Business Administration)
Strong ERP and Excel skill
Practical details and compensation
The role follows an office first working model. Daily work is primarily based on site in Ylöjärvi, as close collaboration with the local organization plays a key role in success.

The monthly salary range is approximately 4000-4500 EUR. We are open to discussing the level based on your background, experience, and overall profile, and we are happy to have an open conversation about compensation expectations.
